5、ecoronaviruspositive,whereastwoof100sampledpigeonsandoneof?vesampledmallardstestedpositive.Theinfectedgraylaggeeseshowedlowerbodyweightscomparedwithvirus-negativebirds,suggestingclinicalsigni?canceoftheinfection.Phylogeneticanalysesperformedonthereplicasegeneandnucleocapsidprotein

6、sequences,indicatedthatthenovelcoronavirusesdescribedinthepresentstudyallbranchofffromgroupIIIcoronaviruses.Allthenovelaviancoronavirusesharbouredtheconserveds2mRNAstructureintheir39untranslatedregion,likeotherpreviouslydescribedgroupIIIcoronaviruses,andliketheSARScoronavirus.Sequ
