4、structivepulmonarydiseasewhowere$50yearsoldandwhoreceivedin?uenzavaccines.Results.HCoV-229EandHCoV-OC43wereassociatedwith90(14%)of665illnesses(HCoV-229Ein22,HCoV-OC43in67,andbothin1),LDIwith107(16%)of678illnesses.Inmultivariatelogisticregressionanalysis,myalgiawaslesslike
5、lywithHCoVinfectionthanwithLDI(OR,0.27[95%con?dencelimit,0.13–0.58]).AmajorityoftheseHCoVandLDIillnessesexhibitedeachof11symptomsandsignsofacuterespiratoryillness.SpirometricresultsworsenedmostoftenwithLDI,andmanyacuterespiratoryillnesses,regardlessofetiology,wereassociat
6、edwithhospitalization.Atotalof8illnesseswereassociatedwithHCoV-NL63,1withHCoV-HKU1.Conclusions.ThefrequenciesofHCoVandLDIillnessesweresimilar.HCoVillnesswaslessseverethanLDIillness,wasaccompaniedbymultiplerespiratoryandsystemicsymptoms,andwasassociatedwithhospitalization.
